Outfit 2.25.12

/ Sweater: Thrifted / Skirt: Thrifted / Tights: Kmart / Shoes: Miss Me Brand /

My camera was being a real jerk face when I was taking these pictures and completely refused to focus correctly. So these were the only pictures that you could actually tell what you are looking at. Also, I know my skirt looks blue (its black!) but that's another thing my camera was being a little butt about.

I'm kind of obsessed with the color grey now. This sweater is now one of my favorite articles of clothing, ever! And yes, it is as soft and comfy as it looks. I wish I would have taken a more detailed picture of my shoes. I cannot remember what website I got these shoes from, it doesn't say anywhere. Not on the the box, or the shoes themselves. I even tried finding it in my browser history. All I know is that they're Miss Me brand and they're adorable. Oh well.

Outfit 2.23.12

(You'll have to excuse my face, I was losing a battle with the sun wanting to blind me)

(Wow are these really that dirty? Haha)

/ Shirt: Walmart / Skirt: Thrifted / Tights: Kmart / Shoes: Dollar General /

What I like about this shirt is that it has so many bright colors in it that any color tights under the sun would be acceptable with this outfit. I'm definitely thinking some yellow ones next time. I did have my cute little yellow pleather purse with me though. Which I forgot about while taking the actual outfit photos, but I managed to find this picture from when I was goofing around in the car..

Purple and yellow together are dreeeeamy. Oh and my nails are done with a nail polish that is purple from one angle and green from another. It's so neat! I love that their never really all purple or all green its always just a mixture of shades of purples and greens and you can never really tell what color they are exactly. They kind of just look silver in the picture.

Also, notice the graffitied wall that I used as my background? Notice me on the wall at one point? I had to climb up my poor mother to get up there. Literally. She bent over and I scaled up the wall by standing on her back. I wish I were joking. Unfortunately I also tore up my tights in the process.

I now have a blanket in my car at all times for situations like this. And a step ladder.

Clothing Inspiration

Here are some outfits I've come across on some blogs that I absolutely adore. I really have an itching in my shoe to go shopping now!

To me, this dress is summer.  It looks so comfy and soft and airy. The cream color of the dress paired with the brown belt and boots is dreamy.

There isn't a part of this outfit that isn't perfect. I fall in love with every mustard yellow sweater I ever see. And don't even get me started on the floral dress.

The tights. That's all I need to say, but not all I will say. The tights wouldn't be so perfect if they weren't paired with this dress. Which I'm drooling over just as much as the tights.

More yellow! I'm also discovering how much I love that color with shades of blue!

A completely different floral dress. This one has a little bit more of a casual feel to it for me, even though I guess its a little more dressy than the one above. I just really love the colors of it and waist and neckline areas are perfect!
