Does anyone remember Aeropostale? Is Aeropostale even still around? I haven't seen one is years! The mall near me used to have one, and the last time I walked into one was when I bought this dress. When I was young it was my favorite store, then I went through a phase where I thought everything in there was horrible. I refused to step foot inside until the one in my mall had their closing sale. This dress was three dollars!

And yes, I did say my shoes were from Dollar General (in my hometown everyone calls it 'the Dollar Store'). They too were only three dollars, and they're so cute! I'm sure they wont last very long though, but I don't care. I just realized my tights are the most expensive part of this outfit (four dollars)!

One last thing: A hilarious jumping photo fail. I don't even know what to say about my face...

Moss Terrarium

My obsession with moss is getting out of hand. Lately I've been looking for it everywhere I go! I live in the woods and I hunt for moss often, I've found two different kinds so far. One I believe is called "Mood Moss" (the longer one with things sticking out of it) and the other one I can't find anything about on the internet. I love both of them so much, so I decided to try to make a little terrarium with them. Unfortunately the only jar I have is a Prego one...

Picnic On the Lake

Derek and I are enjoying the spring weather every chance we get. Yesterday we had ourselves a little picnic at a little lake in a small town we live near and it was oh so lovely. We watched little ducks swim around and be cute while we ate and enjoyed the sunshine. Then we took a ton of pictures together, while everyone in the (very busy) park had their eyes on us the whole time. A while ago, I would have never been able to handle that many people staring at me. But I've learned very well not to care what other people are doing and if they do watch then let them, because I'm a hardcore people watcher myself and I know people are just curious. I was able to block them all out and while taking pictures I felt like Derek and I were in our own little world. Yesterday has been filed under 'good'.

Music Monday #1 - Gotye ft. Kimbra

This is the first installment of Music Monday! For the first song ever on Music Monday, I'm totally jumping on the bandwagon. Now, I know you've probably already seen this video everywhere. I avoided watching/listening because of that reason, it began to annoy me when I would see this video on blog after blog. Then one day I just broke down and listened. I'm officially obsessed, to say the least. So enjoy :)

It's really painful for me to admit that both my dress and shoes came from Walmart. Actually, not really. Just because I'm not wearing any thrifted/second-hand shop items doesn't mean this outfit wasn't cheap. The dress was on clearance at the beginning of winter, so it was definitely cheap although I don't remember exactly how much it cost. Now the shoes, I also got those on clearance at Walmart... for 3 dollars! The funny thing about these shoes though, is that I saw the exact same pair of shoes (same color but smaller size) in a thrift store in town. Those puppies were five dollars!! So no it's not painful to mention at all :) My shoes are a tad too loose on me though, which made them hard to jump in. I tried, but they kept flying off!
